It's the most inconsequential game we'll watch every second of all year long, so we might as well do it together. The Pittsburgh Steelers back ups take on the Minnesota Vikings practice squad in a game where everybody watching and participating just hopes no one that matters gets hurt. It's been over six months since NFL football left us and at this point we're desperate for anything. The game is on NBC. It starts at 8 p.m. Join me, won't you?

Johan Perez (20-2-1, 13 KOs) puts his WBA-NABA welterweight title on the line tonight against undefeated Dmitry Mikhaylenko (19-0, 8 KOs) in the main event on HBO Latino tonight. Earlier in the show Manuel Avila (17-0, 7 KOs) takes on Yoandris Salinas (21-1-2, 14 KOs) for the interim NABF super bantamweight title. We've got a 2 hour, 15 minute show tonight. All in Spanish, so let's use that menu-level Spanish we learned in high school for something important. Watching shirtless men in shorts hit each other in the face. The show starts at 10:30 p.m.

Tonight we have three fights with two rising middleweight prospects on ShoBox's show in Atlantic City, N.J. The main event is Sergiy Derevyanchenko (5-0, 4 KOs) taking on Elvin Ayala (28-6-1, 12 KOs). Before that we'll get Ievgen Kytrov (10-0, 9 KOs) vs Nick Brinson (17-3-2, 7 KOs). The opening fight begins at 10 p.m. and it will be a junior welterweight bout between Regis Prograis (14-0, 12 KOs) and Amos Cowart (11-0-1, 9 KOs) and it could be the best fight of the night.

PBC Boxing on ESPN is the only show in town this week, so we have a relatively easy night to catch all the action. In the main event, we'll have Danny Garcia (30-0, 17 KOs) put his undefeated record on the line in a welterweight bout against Paul Malignaggi (33-6, 7 KOs). The other big fight of the night is knockout artist Daniel Jacobs (29-1, 26 KOs) defending his WBA world middleweigh title against slippery Sergio Mora (28-3-2, 9 KOs). The show begins at 9 p.m.

We've got some overlapping fights tonight, so chances are will miss the HBO undercard. Up first we've got Beibut Shumenov (15-2, 10 KOs) taking on B.J. Flores (31-1-1, 20 KOs) at 200 pounds for the interim WBA world cruiserweight ttle in the main event on the PBC Boxing show broadcast on NBC Sports. HBO has Sergey Kovalev (27-0-1, 24 KOs) defending his three light heavyweight titles against Nadjib Mohammedi (37-3, 2 KOs). The PBC show starts at 9 p.m. and the HBO show starts at 10 p.m. We're going to get through this together.

Julio Ceasar Chavez Jr. (48-2-1, 32 KOs) takes on Marcos Reyes (33-2, 24 KOs) in tonight's main event on Showtime at the Dan Haskins Convention Center in El Paso, Texas. We also get two undercard fights, with one really intriguing match up between Arthur Villanueva (27-0, 14 KOs) and McJoe Arroyo (16-0, 8 KOs) for the vacant IBF world super flyweight title belt. It's the fourth televised title fight this weekend.

Our first show of the day is on CBS with the main event between Carl Frampton (20-0, 14 KOs) vs. Alejandro Gonzalez Jr. (25-1-2) for the IBF World super bantamweight title at the Don Jaskins Center in El Paso, Texas. In the main undercard we've got a heavyweight fight between Chris Arreola (36-4, 31 KOs) and Frederic Kassi (18-3, 10 KOs). The show starts at 4 p.m. on CBS.

Somebody is about to take his first loss. ShoBox's main event tonight at the Sands Casino Resort in Bethlehem, Ps. The big fight is between two rising undefeated middleweights, Antoine Douglas (17-0-1, 11 KOs) faces off against Istvan Szili (18-0-2, 8 KOs). There are three more fights on tap to be broadcast, with two more middleweight matches and a junior featherweight bout.

Live Blog: PBC Boxing Thurman vs Collazo; Golden Boy Herrera vs Lundy

We've got one titles on the line tonight and a fight with possible title implications on two different networks. Up first it's ESPN's turn at PBC Boxing Champions with a main event of Keith Thurman (25-0, 21 KOs) defending his WBA welterweight title against Luis Collazo (36-6, 19 KOs) as well as a couple of undercard fights. At 11 p.m. we'll switch over to HBO Latino for the Golden Boy card. Mauricio Herrera (21-5, 7 KOs) is taking on Hank Lundy (25-4-1, 12 KOs) in a fight to set one of the guys back up for a big money show later this year or next year. There are some undercards on that one as well, so we may end up with five or six televised fights tonight.
