Live Blog: Sunday Night Football - Broncos at Lions

Peyton Manning's farewell tour comes to Detroit tonight, but unlike most people who visit the Motor City, Manning isn't there to close down a factory or evict someone from a property. He's there to finish off the Lions's season early. Matt Stafford might play, but that probably won't make a difference. In the preseason this looked like a good game. Now, well, I'll do my best to make it fun. Kick off is 8:25 p.m. on NBC. We'll talk about the day's games and make some jokes. Join me, won't you?

Live Blog: Thursday Night Football - Redskins at Giants

The New York Giants (0-2) and Eli Manning try to get their season on track against the visiting Washington Redskins (1-1) Kirk Cousins led a power attack featuring running back Matt Jones to victory against the St. Louis Rams and hope to unleash the same thing against the Giants. The game is on CBS and kick off is 8:25 p.m. Let's watch and I might make some jokes in the process.

Live Blog: Monday Night Football - Jets at Colts

Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts need to get their season back on track already after a Week One letdown against the Buffalo Bills. The New York Jets just want to keep their momentum going after a 1-0 start. We all took a bath in our survivor pools this week, but this is our chance to make up some ground. The game begins at 8:15 p.m. on ESPN. Watch it and read along here. I write things. Sometimes I make jokes.

Live Blog: Sunday Night Football - Seahawks at Green Bay

Seattle comes into tonight's game with a real shot at starting the season 0-2. There's good news for the Seahawks, though. I picked Green Bay to win and if my Sunday is any indication, not only will Seattle destroy them, but Aaron Rodgers' entire right arm will fall off and roll into the nearest sewer. It's been that kind of day. Green Bay owes the Seahwks, not only for last year's NFC Championship choke-job, but the replacement ref fiasco from a couple of years before. Aaron Rodgers, in revenge games, usually shows up more Inspector Clouseau and less Django Unchained. We'll see if his new playcaller Tom Clements can make a difference. Kick off is 8:25 p.m on NBC. Let's watch. I'll type things. Some of them might even be jokes.

Live Blog: NFL Football - Cowboys at Eagles on Fox

Chip Kelly and the Philadelphia Eagles try to avoid starting the season 0-2, but will have to beat the Dallas Cowboys to do it. Tony Romo brings his clutch play to Lincoln Financial field, with his best offensive weapon sidelined until December. Kick off is 4:25 p.m. on Fox. Let's watch it.

Live Blog: Thursday Night Football - Broncos at Chiefs

Peyton Manning and the struggling Denver Broncos come into Arrowhead Stadium to take on the Kansas City Chiefs who still haven't tossed a TD pass to a wide receiver in a calendar year. It's Thursday night football and it's a good one. The game begins at 8:25 p.m on CBS and the NFL Network. Watch it while I type things. Some of them might be jokes.

Live Blog: PBC Boxing - Vasquez vs Lopez

Sammy Vasquez (19-0, 13 KOs) puts his undefeated record on the line against Jose Lopez (25-3-1, 15 KOs) in California, Pa. tonight. In the undercard, Omar Douglas (14-0, 11 KOs) takes on Braulio Santos (12-2, 10 KOs). The show is on Fox Sports 1 at 9 p.m. Let's watch some midweek boxing.

Live Blog: Monday Night Football - Vikings at 49ers

It's game two of our doubleheader. Adrian Peterson returns to a Minnesota Vikings team that was pretty decent without him last year. He thinks he'll be back to form. Lots of other people do too. The San Francisco 49ers have been a disaster all season. How bad is it going to get? Let's watch this one and find out. You're tired? Hey, we're all tired. But it's football and we're watching, by God. It's supposed to come on at 10:15 but it won't because the other game is wrapping up. It's happening though. Watch it with me.

Live Blog: Monday Night Football - Eagles at Falcons

Dan Quinn and his rebuilt Atlanta Falcons host Chip Kelly's rebuilt Philadelphia Eagles and only one of these teams really needed any significant rebuilding. Both teams have explosive offenses and problematic defenses. We could end up with a basketball score. This is the first game of a Monday night opening weekend doubleheader and we're going to be talking about it. The game is on ESPN at 7 p.m. Let's watch it.

Live Blog: Sunday Night Football - Giants at Cowboys

Eli Manning leads the explosive New York Giants offense into AT&T Stadium to take on last season's Cinderella team, the Dallas Cowboys. Tony Romo had a resurgent year and hopes to pick up where he left off. Manning is trying to get his team back to the playoffs in hopes of spoiling everyone's postseason once again. The game is on NBC at 8:20 p.m. Let's watch it.
