Live Blog: Monday Night Football - Ravens at Cardinals

For the Baltimore Ravens, this game represents a way to pretend they'll still be a factor in the AFC playoff race. For the Arizona Cardinals, it's the chance to add a few more marks to that paper champions moniker they earned with a bad loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers last week. The game is on ESPN at 8:25 p.m. Watch it with me. I'll do my best to be more entertaining than what looks to be a pretty bad game.

Live Blog: Thursday Night Football - Seahawks at 49ers

Thursday Night Football boasts the marquee match up of three seasons ago when the floundering Seattle Seahawks (2-4) play the pathetic San Francisco 49ers (2-4) in a pitched battle over the bottom of the NFC West. The game is on CBS and NFL Network at 8:25 p.m. Watch it with me. And with the 49ers playing, the jokes will likely write themselves.

Live Blog: NLCS - Mets at Cubs Game Four

It's game four and if the New York Mets have their way, it will be the deciding game. The Chicago Cubs must fight for their postseason lives tonight in an uphill battle. Keep reading for preview information or scroll on down for the live blog. The game is on TBS at 8:07 p.m. Watch it with me. This might be the last chance we get to see the Cubs team for a while.

Live Blog: NLCS - Mets at Cubs

It's survival time for the Chicago Cubs as they enter tonight's National League Championship game three match up with the New York Mets at Wrigley Field in Chicago. The Cubs come in down 0-2 and have to win. There's no way around it. The game is on TBS at 8:07. Let's watch it together.

Live Blog: Monday Night Football - Giants at Eagles

It gets real tonight in the NFC East as the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles battle for control of the division. The Giants (3-2) and the Eagles (2-3) are pretty much the only viable options coming out of the eastern division right now and the winner of this game is in what we call in the south, "the catbird seat." The game is on ESPN at 8:30 p.m. Watch it with me. I'll try to keep it interesting and make a joke or two.

Live Blog: Sunday Night Football - Patriots at Colts

There's this idea that this is a revenge game, and that could be the case. But no one seems to be able to make me understand why this would be a revenge game for the New England Patriots. Exactly what are the Patriots seeking revenge for? A blowout win the AFC Championship? A fourth Super Bowl victory? Getting away with cheating again? Sure, Tom Brady may end up punished later on for orchestrating DeflateGate, but right now he's playing. He's gotten away with it. Revenge? Really? But there is a team that should be looking at the opportunity for plenty of revenge in this game and it's the Indianapolis Colts. The Patriots didn't only beat them in the AFC title game last year, they embarrassed them 45-7. Yes, the Colts got the Patriots caught for cheating, but you have to understand something about that. The Patriots were cheating. They were guilty as hell and Tom Brady was the ringleader. New England isn't Inigo Montoya. They're the effing six-fingered man. The Patriots weren't wronged here. Every other NFL team, player and fan was. The game is on NBC and starts at 8:20 p.m. We've seen upsets all over the board today, why not one more? Watch it with me. I'll make some salient points and plenty of jokes. We've heard about this game being "circled" all offseason. Now let's see who did it in permanent marker.

Live Blog: PPV Boxing - Golovkin vs Lemieux

If Gennady Golovkin (33-0, 30 KOs) is feeling the pressure coming into tonight's pay per view match up, it might have less to do with his opponent, David Lemieux (34-2, 31 KOs), than with the expectations of what the fight should mean. With the retirement of Floyd Mayweather Jr., boxing is looking for another marquee superstar and Golovkin fits the bill, both in personality and style. The one knock against him is he's not American, but the big punch that Golovkin brings to the ring can break the language barrier between him and boxing fans in the United States. Golovkin is already covered in belts, with the IBO middleweight tile, the WBC middleweight title and the WBA super world middleweight title are all on the line against Lemiuex, who puts up his the IBF middleweight title. The fight is on HBO Pay Per View and should begin sometime around 11:30 p.m. EST. Watch it with me. Golovkin has always put on a good show and Lemieux has plenty of knockout power too. We should get a good fight out of this one that just might be worth the money.

Live Blog: Thursday Night Football - Falcons at Saints

Trying to stay perfect will be the goal of the Atlanta Falcons (5-0) tonight while the New Orleans Saints (1-4) do their best to not to be perfectly awful. The Falcons come in a little beat up, with Julio Jones nursing a hamstring injury and Devonte Freeman working with an injured toe. The Saints seem to have everybody healthy, for whatever good that will do them. The game is on CBS and the NFL Network at 8:25 p.m. Let's watch. I might make some jokes.

Live Blog: PBC on ESPN - Alexander vs Martinez

Our second of three Premier Boxing Champions events this week and one of four big boxing shows for the week. In the main event, Devon Alexander (26-3, 14 KOs) takes on Aron Martinez (19-4-1, 4 KOs) in a comeback fight after Alexander lost his WBC Silver welterweight title to Amir Khan back in December. The primary undercard is practically a generational bout between Lee Selby (21-1, 8 KOs) defending his IBF featherweight title against Fernando Montiel (54-4-2, 39 KOs). The fights are on ESPN at 9 p.m. Watch them with me.

Live Blog: PBC on FS1 - Washington vs Mansour

It's a night of heavyweights with the main event of Gerald Washington (16-0, 11 KOs) vs Amir Mansour (22-1, 16 KOs) in Shelton, Wash. The fight's on Fox Sports 1 at 9 p.m. Let's watch it together.
