Live Blog: NHL Stanley Cup Finals - Predators at Penguins Game 5

It's Game Five time and somehow I'm still in this. Yes, the worst hockey commentater on the planet is back to regale you with his hard-fought and half-assed ruminations on a sport he knows absolutely nothing about. It's the NHL Stanley Cup finals between the Nashville Predators and Pittsburgh Penguins. Join me, won't you? The series is tied 2-2. The game is supposed to start at 8 p.m. EST. It'll be more like 8:20 after all the yapping. Watch it with me.

Live Blog: NHL Stanley Cup Finals: Penguins at Predators Game 4

Oh yeah. This is still happening and you might as well just lean into it. I'm riding this whole Stanley Cup thing right to the bitter end, which will at least be two more games between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Nashville Predators. I've learned more about hockey over the last two weeks than I ever wanted to and any sense I make during the live blog is completely accidental. The Pens lead the series 2-1, and have one more game in Nashville before heading back to Pittsburgh for Game Five on Thursday. The game on on the real NBC tonight since they didn't have any ice dancing or hula hoop competitions to show at 8 p.m. EST. Watch it with me.

Live Blog: NHL Stanley Cup Finals: Penguins at Predators Game 3

I'm back. The worst hockey commenter in the game returns to fill your computer screen or mobile devices with just outright utter nonsense. Tonight, game three of the NHL Stanley Cup finals is upon us and this time it's in my neck of the woods, in Nashville, Tenn. as the Predators try to actually win a single game in the series against the Pittsburgh Penguins. So, yeah. The Penguins lead the series 2-0. The game is on NBC Sports Net at 8 p.m. Watch it with me.

Live Blog: NHL Stanley Cup Finals - Predators at Penguins

Oh yeah. This is still happening. I, the most useless hockey commentator on planet Earth, will continue offering my invaluable hockey commentary. Like a champion. This is Game Two of a possible seven-game Stanley Cup series between the favored Pittsburgh Penguins and "my" Nashville Predators. The game is on NBC Sports Network at 8 p.m. EST There will be three periods for some reason and probably a dead fish thrown at some point. Let's watch it all go down together.

Live Blog: NHL Finals - Predators at Penguins

Like an astronaut landing on a new planet, I've decided to explore this hockey thing and I hope you'll come along for the the ride. Tonight, the Stanley Cup Finals begin with the Pittsburgh Penguins hosting what I have been told is "my team," the Nashville Predators. Usually with these live blogs, I feel I can grant some real insight, some solid commentary and a few jokes. Tonight, it will mostly be jokes. Plus, maybe a drinking game based on my ability to pronounce one of these wacky foreign names correctly on the first try. If I don't, take a shot. We'll also chug a bear every time a mullet hits the screen. I expect to be very drunk. The game is on NBC at 8 p.m. It is called a "game," right? Not a match or a... I don't know, Icee? Either way, watch it with me.
