Live Blog: CBS Sports Net Boxing - Hernandez vs Gutierrez

Nico Hernandez (0-0) makes his professional debut tonight and evidently it's a big enough deal that his six-rounder against Patrick Guttierez (0-2) is the main event tonight at the Kansas Star Arena in Mulvane, Kansas. In the primary undercard, Tremaine Williams (9-0, 3 KOs) takes on Eduardo Garza (6-1, 2 KOs). We'll probably get three fights. Hell, we might get four and if any of the past CBS Sports Net Fight Nights are an example, it should be a shitshow. The show is on CBS Sports Net at 9 p.m. Watch it with me.

Live Blog: Showtime Boxing - Linares vs Crolla

How about some old school Saturday afternoon boxing? Showtime (or ShoBox, if you like) is giving us live coverage of Jorge Linares (41-3, 27 KOs) defending his WBA World Lightweight Title against Anthony Crolla (31-5-3, 13 KOs) at Manchester Arena in Manchester, U.K. I'm not sure we'll get an undercard, but probably not since it's 6 p.m. EST here in the states. The fight is on Showtime at 6 p.m. Watch it with me.

Live Blog: ESPN Boxing - Quigley vs Tapia

Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions is putting on its own show tonight on ESPN. In the main event Jason Quigley (12-0, 10 KOs) takes on Glen Tapia (23-3, 15 KOs) at Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, Calif. The fight is for one of those NABF belts that no one seems to care about. In the undercard Randy Caballero (23-0, 14 KOs) faces off Jesus Ruiz (36-7-5, 25 KOs) for the vacant NABF Super Bantamweight title. The might try to toss another fight at us, if so I'll pick up the live blog when Caballero and Ruiz take the ring. The fights are on ESPN at 10 p.m. EST. Watch them with me.

We're unifying titles tonight thanks to HBO Pay-Per-View boxing when Gennady "Triple-G" Golovkin (36-0, 33 KOs) takes on Daniel Jacobs (32-1, 29 KOs) in a fight no one thinks is going the distance at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
