Live Blog: PBC Boxing on Spike - Broner vs Theophane

Spike and Premier Boxing Champions shows up on the schedule after a nice little hiatus with a title fight. Adrien Broner (31-2, 23 KOs) takes on Ashley Theophane (39-6-1, 11 KOs) for the vacant WBA World Super Lightweight Title in Washington D.C. The primary undercard is undefeated Robert Easter Jr. (16-0, 13 KOs) taking on Algenes Mendez (23-3-1, 12 KOs). Spike has set aside two and a half hours for boxing, so we'll likely open with Anthony Peterson (36-1, 24 KOs) takes on Samuel Neequaye (22-1, 15 KOs). The fight is on Spike TV at 9 p.m. Watch faces get pummeled into hamburger with me.

Live Blog: HBO Boxing - Ward vs Barrera

Andre Ward (28-0, 15 KOs) tries to raise his profile to become one of the big dogs tonight when he faces off against Sullivan Barrera (17-0, 12 KOs) on HBO. On the primary undercard we'll see Jayson Valez (23-1-1) take on Joseph Diaz (19-0) The show is on HBO at 9:45 p.m. EST. Watch it with me.

Live Blog: Showtime Boxing - Progrias vs Herrera

Live Blog: HBO Boxing - Crawford vs Lundy

Three televised boxing events in one day gives us a hard decision tonight, but I'm going with HBO's fight. Terence Crawford (27-0, 19 KOs) puts his WBO Super Lightweight belt on the line tonight against Hank Lundy (26-5-1, 13 KOs) inside Madison Square Garden. In our undercard we get another title fight between Felix Verdejo (19-0, 14 KOs) and William Silva (23-0, 14 KOs) for Verdejo's WBO Latino Lightweight title. The fight is on HBO at 10 p.m. Watch it with me.

Live Blog: Showtime Extreme Boxing - Frampton vs Quigg

Two big fight shows on the same day? It must be a Saturday after football season. Today's first fight is taking place across the pond with Carl Frampton (21-0, 14 KOs) putting up his IBF World Super Bantamweight and WBA Super World Super Bantamweight titles on the line against Scott Quigg (31-0-2, 23 KOs). Live Blog: PBC Boxing on FS1 - Santiago vs Ruiz

Boxing is finally back on TV after way too long an absence so even though Premier Boxing Champions is throwing a show full of hobbits at us, we're going to watch it anyway because we like watching men, even the small kind, punch each other in the head. It's Toe-to-Toe Tuesday and PBC has brought the little fellas to the ring. The main event tonight is Alexis Santiago (20-3-1, 8 KOs) against Erik Ruiz (15-4, 6 KOs) in a 10-round main event that we can all probably go ahead and bet will go the distance. It's a two-hour show so we'll probably get two undercards. The primary second-banana fight is Lionell Thomson (16-3, 10 KOs) vs Paul Parker (7-1, 4 KOs) at light heavyweight. We'll also likely get the super middleweight fight between Lanell Bellows (14-1, 7 KOs) vs Antowyan Aikens (10-0-1, 1 KO). The fight is on Fox Sports 1 at 9 p.m. It's Tuesday. What else have you got to do?

Live Blog: Super Bowl 50 - Panthers vs Broncos

This is it. The Carolina Panthers (17-1) face off against the Denver Broncos (14-4) for the Vince Lombardi Trophy. Not that I have to tell you about the biggest sporting event on planet Earth, Super Bowl 50. Just in case you've been in hiding from the FBI or space aliens or the Illuminati, the Super Bowl is on CBS at 6:30 p.m. Let me be a part of your Super Bowl get-together and/or world takeover meeting.

Live Blog: 2015-16 NFL Pro Bowl

Some of the best, or overhyped, players in the NFL meet today for a meaningless game with absolutely nothing at stake. Michael Irvin and Jerry Rice picked the teams for the Pro Bowl. Now we have to watch them play because it's the only football that will be on today and we've kind of got an addiction problem. We get Super Bowl 50 next week, so just try to focus on that. The game is on ESPN at 7 p.m. Watch it with me. Maybe we can come up with some kind of drinking game.

Live Blog: HBO Boxing - Kovalev vs. Pascal II

Three light heavyweight titles are on the line tonight in the rematch between Sergey Kovalev (28-0-1, 25 KOs) takes on Jean Pascal (30-3-1, 30 KOs) with the IBF, WBA and WBO lightweight belts on the table. In the undercard, Dmitry Mikhaylenko (20-0, 9 KOs) takes on Karim Mayfield (19-2-1, 11 KOs) for the vacant USBA welterweight title. There are a handful of other fights, but I don't think they'll be shown unless the first fight is crazy short. The fights are on HBO at 9:45 p.m. There are faces about to get caved in. Let's watch it happen.

Live Blog: NFC Championship - Cardinals at Panthers
