Live Blog: Thursday Night Football - Chargers at Raiders

In a game that's only important for your fantasy teams (daily or otherwise), bettors and die hards like you and me, the San Diego Chargers (4-10) take on the Oakland Raiders (6-8) in what amounts to a "loser leaves town" wrestling match. Or, maybe "winner leaves town" depending on how you feel. The game is on NFL Network at 8:25. Let's ignore our families and watch it.

Live Blog: Monday Night Football - Lions at Saints

There will likely be a moment, sometime in the third quarter, where we will all look at ourselves and wonder why the hell we're watching this game. Ultimately here's why. It's NFL football and we're going to miss it when it's gone. So here we all are, together, watching Mike Terico and Jon Gruden polish the turd that is the Detroit Lions (4-9) take on the New Orleans Saints (5-8). It's happening. We're about to watch it. Let's just deal with it together. The game is on ESPN and the schedule says 8:15 p.m. even though that's always a lie. Let's watch it anyway.

Live Blog: Sunday Night Football - Eagles at Cardinals

With the New York Giants' loss today, the path to the playoffs is clear for the Philadelphia Eagles (6-7). They just have to beat the Arizona Cardinals (11-2) first. This game was already important. Now it's actually worth a prime time slot. The game is on NBC at 8:20 p.m. Let's watch it.

We get our second free title fight in the last two weeks when Rances Barthelemy (23-0, 13 KOs) takes on Denis Shafikov (36-1-1, 19 KOS) for the vacant IBF World Lightweight title. In the undercard Isiah Thomas (15-0, 6 KOs) and Murat Gassiev (22-0, 16 KOs) should be a tremendous fight at 200 pounds. The fights are on Spike TV at 9 p.m. Watch them with me.

Live Blog: Thursday Night Football - Buccaneers at Rams

In a game no one wanted to see in colors no one can stand to look at, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-7) travel to St. Louis to take on the Rams (5-8) because that's where they are for the time being. The game is on the NFL Network at 8:20 p.m. EST. The Rams have already broken my heart, it's time for them to break my spirit.

Live Blog: Monday Night Football - Giants at Dolphins

We finish out Week 14 with an odd game, the New York Giants (5-7) try to keep their NFC East and playoff hopes alive against the Miami Dolphins (5-7) who are just trying to avoid their seventh straight non-winning season. The last time we had a train wreck game like this it turned out to be a pretty fantastic contest (Anybody remember Browns - Ravens? Or, Browns fans, how can you ever forget?). The game is on ESPN at 8:20. Watch it with me.

Live Blog: Sunday Night Football - Patriots at Texans

A busy weekend of live blogs continues for me with Sunday Night Football on NBC. Tonight the New England Patriots (10-2) can take back the driver's seat in the AFC with a win over the Houston Texans (6-6). The Texans, with a win, can take control of the AFC South and control their own destiny for a playoff berth. This game suddenly got very important. The game is on NBC. Watch it with me.

Live Blog: PBC Boxing on NBC - Figueroa vs DeMarco

Tonight's PBC show's main event seems prospect Omar Figueroa Jr. (25-0-1, 18 KOs) try to raise his profile taking on veteran Antonio DeMarco (31-5-1, 23 KOs). The undercard gives Chris Arreola (36-4-1, 31 KOs) a chance to make up for the snooze-fest he put forward back in July against Fred Kassi. He'll have his work cut out for him against Travis Kauffman (30-1, 22 KOs). The fight's on NBC at 8:30 p.m. Watch it with me.
