2019 Mexican Grand Prix - Qualifying - LIVE - 3Legs4Wheels

After Mercedes wrapped up both championships in Japan 2 weeks ago, there's just the matter of which driver will take home the individual crown this year and this weekend we're at a circuit where Lewis Hamilton has wrapped that up for the last 2 seasons. So can he make it 3 years in a row? "All" he has to do is outscore Valtteri Bottas by 14 points tomorrow, otherwise things will technically move on to Austin next weekend. (We know he's as good as won it, but until the maths are there, there's still a chance!) Anyway we've got the matter of a qualifying session before we can think about the race and after a mixed weekend so far for most teams, this could be interesting. Paul's here to go through it all

2019 Japanese Grand Prix - The Whole Shebang - LIVE - 3Legs4Wheels

It's going to be a long night tonight (or a long day if you're in Japan) with qualifying and the race all on the same day after all of Saturday's action was called off due to Super Typhoon Hagibis threatening most of Southern Japan. After Friday's 2 practice sessions, it's Mercedes that have been on top, but is that likely to change by the time qualifying starts. Also are we going to see a conservative qualifying session from some drivers as any damage done to the cars might not be fixable in the 3 1/2 hours between the start of Q1 and the pit lane opening? We're in for the long haul here tonight at 3 legs towers, although there might be a bit of a power nap between Q3 and the track parade, but we'll give it our best shot! Paul's here with Chris, Dan, Sian and a bucket of coffee (other caffeinated drinks are available, although some are more available than others) to take you through the whole thing

2019 Russian Grand Prix - LIVE - 3Legs4Wheels

I'm sure we said this exact thing last week, but where did Ferrari get this pace on this circuit from? Charles Leclerc is on his 4th pole position in a row and the Ferrari resurgence isn't showing any signs of stopping, they're quick on the power circuits and going on last week and so far this weekend, they're as quick on the chassis & downforce circuits. Are they the best car on the grid at the moment? All the evidence shows that they are. Can they keep that up today though? The Russian Grand Prix is usually not the greatest race for overtaking on as it's a semi-street circuit with all the hallmarks of the usual Herman Tilke boredromes, so if the 2 red cars at the front can get good starts then it's going to be down to the team as to which one wins. That's the theory anyway, but this is F1, so we probably should expect the unexpected... Paul's here with Chris, Dan & Sian to take you through the race

2019 Russian Grand Prix Qualifying - LIVE - 3Legs4Wheels

Once again Ferrari have got a boatload of pace this weekend on a circuit that before the summer break would have left them pootling round in 5th & 6th. While both championships are probably out of reach at this stage of the season with only 6 races to go, they're still showing that they now know what the early season problems with their car were and how to fix them and get the best out of it for the rest of the year. Could we actually see a competitive Ferrari in 2020 for the full season? We don't know that yet, but we do know that they're on a run of 3 consecutive wins since the Summer Break and they're aiming to make it a 4th this weekend in Sochi. You can't win a race on Saturday, but you can stop yourself from losing it and that's what we're going to find today for qualifying. Paul's here to tae you through it

2019 Singapore Grand Prix - LIVE - 3Legs4Wheels

So where did this sudden burst of Ferrari pace come from this weekend? After victories in Belgium & Italy where downforce isn't an issue and it's more about outright speed, not all that many observers thought that they'd be troubling the front row and possibly not even the 2nd one in Singapore where downforce and grip are key and that's something the the red cars haven't had any advantage on so far in 2019. How wrong we all were after Charles Leclerc took pole yesterday with a monumental lap and Sebastian Vettel almost taking the 2nd slot on the grid as well, until Lewis Hamilton managed to steal it by less than 3 hundredths of a second with Max Verstappen making up the top 4, meaning or the first time in year we've not had a RedBull in the top 3 on the grid here. So after all the build up saying that it was going to be a walk in the park for Mercedes, it looks like we're in for a tight race today on a circuit where there's not much scope for overtaking, Paul's here with Chris & Sian to take you though it

2019 Singapore Grand Prix Qualifying - LIVE - 3Legs4Wheels

The original and best F1 night race (ok Bahrain has its merits, but this one is usually more action packed) and it's going to be an interesting one this weekend. Have Ferrari solved their lack of downforce that's given them the top speed at the circuits that don't need it, but slowed them down at circuits where they do? What's going on with RedBull being off the pace at a circuit where they are usually strong and can Mercedes bounce back from losing out the last 2 races and ramp up the championship charge? We'll find out some of those answers this afternoon and the rest of them tomorrow!

2019 Italian Grand Prix - LIVE - 3Legs4Wheels

So where do we start after the mess that was Q3 yesterday? I haven't got a clue, 7 drivers missed out on getting an extra lap in at the end of the session after the time ran out with only Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc making it in time to start their hot laps, add to that Hulk & Vettel missing the chicane during the session to get out of being the car at the front that gave everyone the two and you've just got a whole massive mess. Anyway it's race day and we should see everyone going at something close to full speed today at least! Paul's here with Chris, Dan & Sian to take you through the Italian Grand Prix where we're expecting the fastest and shortest race of the season...

2019 Italian Grand Prix Qualifying - LIVE - 3Legs4Wheels

The Italian Grand Prix is usually a celebration of all things Ferrari and it seems even more so this weekend, coming of Charles Leclerc's win last week in Belgium and some solid times set by the scarlet cars in the 3 practice sessions so far, the Tifosi will be thinking that the red resurgence is back on! Can Ferrari make it 2 wins in a row or will Mercedes try to repeat last year's 1-2 finish and formation cooldown lap that silenced the crowd. We'll get to find out over the next hour or so...

2019 Belgian Grand Prix - LIVE - 3Legs4Wheels

#RacingForAnthoine Welcome to our live blog for the Belgian Grand Prix on a day when all motorsport is still reeling from the tragic accident that claimed the life of Anthoine Hubert in yesterday's F2 feature race. We debated about not doing the blog today, but came to the decision that as a community, everyone involved with motorsport on whatever level is always there to support and back each other up through the good times as well as the bad and today we're all here for each other.

2019 Belgian Grand Prix Qualifying - LIVE - 3Legs4Wheels

After a nice relaxing 3 week summer break we've come back to one of the most chaotic days that F1 has seen in a while and we didn't even have any on-track action! After all the team and driver announcements and the 2020 calendar it's now actually time to get on with what F1 is really about and that's getting some cars on a track going as quickly as they can! We're at the longest circuit of the season this weekend and it's a real compromise between power and aero in Spa, so this will give us a chance to see which way everyone has decided to go.
