2018 Japanese Grand Prix - LIVE

We had a pretty strong idea of how qualifying was going to play out, but we had no idea it was going to go the way it did in the end. We had changing weather, a red flag, Daniel Ricciardo not making it out of Q2 again and Ferrari getting a tyre strategy call wrong and leaving Sebastian Vettel stuck in 9th place on the grid on a circuit that doesn't lend itself to overtaking (although he'll start 8th due to Esteban Ocon's 3 place penalty for speeding under red flags in FP3) So what can Ferrari (and RedBull for that matter) do to get something out of today? We haven't got a clue, but it'll be interesting to find out. Paul, Chris & Dan aer here to take you through the action (and we won't mention that we're kicking this off at 4:30 in the morning!)

2018 Japanese Grand Prix Qualifying - LIVE

Qualifying at Suzuka is sometimes fairly tricky to predict as there's a variety of setups that can be used for the race and teams & drivers have to work out if it's worth taking the risk of losing a few places on the grid for faster pace on Sunday, but then there's always the problem of actually being able to pass the slower cars in front of you on the day. Throw some predicted rain into the equation (60% chance of heavy showers during from 4-5PM local time) and we could be in for an interesting hour. Which is just as well for us because European viewers are up early in the morning for this one (Q starts at 7PM UK time!) so let's see hwo this one goes this morning...

2018 Russian Grand Prix - LIVE- 3Legs4Wheels

Another race and another dominant Mercedes qualifying performance, but this time it's Valtteri Bottas that's come out on top by taking pole yesterday for today's Russian Grand Prix. Mercedes have alreadyd admitted that they don't know how to play this one out but also aren't sure if they're going to let the 2 of them race, but that could all be thrown out of the window if the Ferrari's behind them can a better start than at least one of the Silver Arrows. Hows this going to play out? We'll find out soon as Paul, Chris & Dan (with help from Lee & Sian on social media) are here to take you through the race

2018 Russian Grand Prix Qualifying - LIVE - 3Legs4Wheels

For what it's worth they're going to run a qualifying session for tomorrow's race, even though, as things stand, a quarter of the grid are taking engine penalties (Both RedBull's, both Toro Rosso's and Fernando Alonso) This is going to mean it's a straight shootout between Ferrari and Mercedes for the 1st 2 rows on the grid tomorrow with everyone else battling for 5th place.  At least with 5 cars starting out of position we might be in with a chance of overtaking in the race tomorrow as there was only 1 overtake after the 1st lap last year! Anyway, Paul's here to go through qualifying and hope that one of the fast 4 can give us a special lap like Lewis Hamilton did in Singapore 2 weeks ago!

2018 Singapore Grand Prix - LIVE - 3Legs4Wheels

After a stunning pole lap yesterday can Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes build on their qualifying performance and stretch their lead in both championships over a struggling Sebastian Vettel and a disappointing all round performance from Ferrari. We'll find out this afternoon as Paul & Dan take you through the race

2018 Singapore Grand Prix Qualifying - LIVE - 3Legs4Wheels

The Original F1 night race and still the best, the Singapore Grand Prix is also the longest race on the calendar with an almost 2 hour duration, even under normal conditions with a dry track and without a safety car. This means that reliability is going to be key for tomorrow. So how do you approach qualifying? Do you sacrifice a little engine power to give your car more of a chance of going the distance, or do you hit it hard and hope that you can hang on? We'l find out in the next 90 minutes who is doing what to give themselves a chance on a tight, street circuit with minimal overtaking opportunities.

2018 Italian Grand Prix - LIVE - 3Legs4Wheels

After a qualifying session yesterday where the 4 fastest laps in F1 history were recorded and Kimi Raikkonnen getting his first pole position since Monaco last year (seemingly to his team-mate's annoyance) we could be in for a good one today to make up for the snoozefest that was laps 3-44 in Belgium last week. With the fastest circuit on the calendar and, once again, drivers starting out of position, this could throw a few interesting situations up. Will Ferrari sacrifice Kimi's race to get Vettel ahead, can Mercedes make the gap up between them and Ferrari? Is it Danny Ric's turn to do what Valtteri Bottas did last week and get close to the sharp end from the back of the grid? And is the new war of words between K-Mag and Alonso, ("He thinks he's a God" is the highlight at the minute) going to carry on after today? Just please, please please, let this be a more entertaining race than Belgium! Paul & Chris will try and keep you going all the way through it this afternoon

2018 Italian Grand Prix Qualifying - LIVE

We've cone to the end of the European F1 season already and as is now traditional it's the Italian Grand Prix that's the last race before we start the fly-away part of the season. And in another tradition, The Tifosi are out in force this weekend and if the 3 practice sessions are anything to go by, they might have something to cheer about in the next couple of hours and tomorrow afternoon as well. While it was tricky to judge yesterday with the wet track, Ferrari set out their stall with a Sebastian Vettel taking the honours in FP3 this morning. Is this how things are going to go for the 2 sessions that count? We'll find out very soon...

2018 Belgian Grand Prix - LIVE - 3Legs4Wheels

After a rain affected qualifying yesterday we've got a fairly mixed up grid for today's Belgian GP with drivesr out of position thanks to both the weather and grid penalties. we usually get good racing at Spa and today shouldn't be an exception. Paul's here with Chris & Dan to take you through the race and let's see how things pan out over the next few hours...

2018 Belgian Grand Prix Qualifying - LIVE 3Legs4Wheels

Back to F1 after the summer break and it's the best circuit on the calendar to welcome us back. Paul's here with live qualifying updatess from the Belgian Grand Prix. Can Ferrari keep their dominance after the 3 practice sessions or will Mercedes pull their usual "something extra" (we're not allowed to call it Party Mode now) out of the bag. We know that there's only going to be one silver car at the pointy end of the grid, but how will the rest of things pan out. We'll find out over the next hour or so
