2020 Styrian Grand Prix - LIVE - 3Legs4Wheels

After a chaotic opening race of the 2020 season last week and a rain affected qualifying session yesterday we head into the 2nd race in 2 weeks at the RedBull ring.

2020 Austrian Grand Prix - LIVE - 3Legs4Wheels

Finally we're ready for the first race of the 2020 F1 season, after the last second cancellation of Australia and almost 4 months of global lockdown due to you know what, we're finally here at the first race day of the year.

F1 Testing 2020 Final Day - LIVE - 3Legs4Wheels

It's the final day of pre-season testing and it gives the teams one final chance to make sure that the cars are what they need to be before we ship out to Australia for the first race of the season. Paul's here to go through the main points in another of his marathon live blogs

2019 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix - LIVE - 3Legs4Wheels

Well we've finally made it to the end of the season and we're here for the final Grand Prix, once again it's not going to be a last race showdown for the title, but at least it's not for double points (there's something to be thankful for on Thanksgiving week). True to form Mercedes set the 2 fastest times in qualifying, but thanks to Valtteri Bottas having to take a new engine for the weekend, they don't get a front for lockout this time. It's also going to be the last race for Robert Kubica and possibly for Nico Hulkberg as well, so I'm sure we'll be getting a lot of TV retrospective features on their respective careers along with the usual best moments of the season clips (and the French Grand Prix as well) and it seems at times like the race is going to take 2nd place in everyone's attention! We're still interested though and even though we're not all at 3 legs towers this week (thanks to the flu bug that's flattening the Isle of Man at the moment) we've got it all covered for the next few hours.

2019 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Qualifying - LIVE - 3Legs4Wheels

Like we said on the podcast this week, none of us can believe it's the end of the season already, we've had 20 races so far and now for the 1st time in years we get to prepare for a race in December! There's a qualifying session to get through first though this afternoon which like the race will be held at sunset over the circuit and on a cooling track, so a mix of strategies for the midfield teams is usually what we see here. Will it be any different today? We'll get to ffind out over the next 90 minutes or so...

2019 Brazilian Grand Prix - LIVE - 3Legs4Wheels

It's taken 28 years, but we've finally got another Honda powered car on pole in Brazil. Ayrton Senna was the last driver to achieve this feat in 1991 and since then we've had a succession of under-powered cars running Honda engines, but it looks like their tie-up with RedBull is now producing results with Max Verstappen taking his 2nd pole of the season after the 3rd time he set the fastest Q3 time (let's not talk about Mexico shall we?) We're going into today's race with both title already sewn up, but there's still other positions to play for and RedBull will want to bring it to Ferrari, especially with Charles Leclerc being hit with a 10 place grid drop after putting a new engine in. This could give Max a push to get up to 3rd in the driver's championship going into the last race in Abu Dhabi in 2 weeks time. There's also a few minor places to be sorted out with only 26 points between Danny Ric in 9th and K-Mag in 16th, so bragging rights are not settled yet! Paul's here with Chris, Dan & Sian to take you through the race...

2019 Brazilian Grand Prix Qualifying - LIVE - 3Legs4Wheels

It's the penultimate race of the season at Interlagos and the titles have already been decided, is this a bit of a lame duck race? Not a chance. There's still plenty to look forward to with this race this weekend. Max Verstappen will be looking to take the win he was denied (by Esteban Ocon) last year, Lewis Hamilton has said that this is already a training run for 2020 and Ferrari will be looking to at least finish season strongly. That's just the top 3 teams and there's plenty more to play for all the way down the grid. Paul's here to take you through qualifying for what is usually an unpredictable race in Brazil...

2019 United States Grand Prix - LIVE

Will we see Number 6 today? Lewis Hamilton goes into this year's US Grand Prix needing only to finish 8th or better to clinch yet another World Driver's Championship. Although he's going to have to do it from 5th on the grid after a bit of a torrid Q3 session where none of the top runners managed to improve their times in their second runs on a track that's been described (by Lando Norris of course) as a rollercoaster. Even though the potential for the champion to be crowned is what a lot of people are concentrating on, there's still the matter of 19 other drivers in this race and with the "new" F1 keen to put on a show for the growwing US audience, we should be treated to some decent racing all down the grid today. Paul's here with Chris & Sian to take you through it all

2019 United States Grand Prix - Qualifying - LIVE - 3Legs4Wheels

It's the 2nd part of the F1 North American double-header and it's one of our favourite circuits this week as we're racing at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin Texas. We've been saying on the podcast for a while that this is the circuit that Herman Tilke has got right and we usually get some decent racing here, as long as they don't screw around with the track limits like they did for the IndyCar race earlier in the year! Lewis Hamilton can clinch the title this weekend with a top 8 finish and as he's never finished lower than 5th here, you've got think that it'll be all signed and sealed before we get to Brazil in 2 weeks time. But in the meantime we've got a grid to sort out, so let's see how qualifying plays out...

2019 Mexican Grand Prix - LIVE - 3Legs4Wheels

o this is nice and straightforward then, Max Verstappen sets the fastest time in Q3 and gets pole position. They have the grid interview and then on to the press conference where the top 3 qualifiers all go and do their media duties with their nice pre-packaged answers for the world's press. And here's where it all goes wrong for him; admitting to not lifting off when he saw Valtteri Bottas wipe out big style right in front of him and then saying that he wasn't worried about losing his lap time as he had the 2nd fastest one anyway didn't go over too well with the stewards and a couple of hours later he gets hit with a 3 place grid drop. So the message here is don't try and bluster it out, it won't work! In the meantime we've still got a race today and it's the 3rd Mexican Grand Prix in a row where the World Driver's Championship could be decided, this time all Lewis Hamilton needs is to score 14 points more than his Finnish team-mate and it's done. Simple right? Given what's going on this weekend, nothing's going to be simple, but Paul's here with Chris, Dan & Sian to take you though what does happen... (Also did we mention that there's a chance of rain towards the end of the race?)
