In the 5th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) season 9, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) take on the defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) at their home ground Eden Gardens in Kolkata. KKR are high on confidence having beaten Delhi Daredevils in their opening game. MI on the other hand didn’t start off well and faced defeat at the hands of IPL debutants Rising Pune Supergiants playing at their home ground in Mumbai. It will be interesting to see how both the teams plan out the game, while KKR have a settled team, similar to the one they fielded in the previous edition Mumbai are yet to get the combination right and will find it difficult to beat Kolkata in front of the home crowd.

IPL 9, Match 4: RCB v SRH Live social feeds

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will start the season playing at home at the M Chinnaswami Stadium in Bengaluru. Sunrisers Hyderabad are the visitors and it will be a challenge for them to play against the home team. Virat Kohli is batting like a dream and with the likes of AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle for company. Traditionally RCB have done well at home while SRH isn't a really good travelling team and the fact that they have changed the team a bit, will need time to settle and get going. A lot of their batting will depend on Shikhar Dhawan and skipper David Warner and the quality of start they give them, not to forget they have a really strong bowling attack with the likes of Nehra and Mustafizur.

IPL 9, Match 3: KXIP v GL Live social feeds

The debutants Gujarat Lions travel all the way to Mohali for their first ever game and they will take on the home team Kings XI Punjab in the 3rd match of the IPL season 9. GL have picked a good side with some explosive batsmen in the unit along with a good batting attack. They will be led by IPL batting legend Suresh Raina, he has India and CSK teammate Ravindra Jadeja along as well. Punjab dropped George Bailey from the team and appointed David Miller as the skipper, it will be interesting to see how he responds to the responsibility and will KXIP be able to make an impact in the league this time, though this is just the first match will definitely set the tone for the rest of the tournament.

IPL 9 Match 1 MI v RPSG: Live social feeds

In the season opener tonight defending champions Mumbai Indians take on IPL debutants Rising Pune Supergiants. While the team has a new name and look, most of the players including skipper MS Dhoni are IPL veterans and know the game really well. Mumbai would be confident playing at home but despite the fact that they will start their title defense with this game, it remains to be seen that how they cope up with the Pune challenge given the fact that they are poor starters. It will be interesting to see how Dhoni marshalls his troops in the new outfit and how Rohit Sharma turns up after a poor shade of form in international cricket.

World T20 2016 final: West Indies v England Live social feeds

It’s the big night of the final. Darren Sammy’s West Indies takes on Eoin Morgan & Co. at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. England are high on confidence having beaten New Zealand quite comfortably in the semi-final while the Windies boys will feel they have the best chance to lift the title the second time after they rattled the Indians at Wankhede the other night. Both the teams will rely on their batting firepower to get the big runs and will expect their bowlers to halt the opposition hitters. At this point isn’t easy for anybody to predict but looks like Darren Sammy will become the only captain to win the trophy a record second time.

World T20 2nd Semi-Final: India v West Indies Live social feeds

Home team India take on West Indies in the 2nd semi-final of the World T20 2016 at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Both the teams seem to know each other’s strengths and weaknesses given that most of the players are a part of the IPL. The battle will be more about the Indian bowlers and Chris Gayle. Whoever has the upper hand will be half-way ahead in the match. Will the Indian top order click? Virat Kohli has been phenomenal but MS Dhoni would want others to jump in and score big as well. The Indian bowlers have been spot on and this has probably been the best thing for the team; but the Windies bowlers haven’t done badly either. In the end it all boils down to how the teams cope up with the pressure of the semi-final and who puts a stronger performance on the night.

World T20 1st semi-final: England v New Zealand Live social feeds

England and New Zealand will battle it out in the 1st semi-final of the ICC World T20 2016 at the Feroz Shah Kotla, in New Delhi. While New Zealand has been unbeaten in the tournament thus far and marched their way through beating all their opponents, England registered a couple of super wins, pulling off the highest successful run-chase in World T20 history. Going by the cricketing logics New Zealand should sail though, given they have a settled attack and the momentum on their side but this Eoin Morgan led England side definitely has the potential to pull off a surprise win and stun the Black Caps on the big night.

World T20: South Africa v Sri Lanka Live social feeds

The two eliminated giants South Africa and Sri Lanka take on each other in a dead rubber contest at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in the national capital. Both the teams had a poor run in the league stages of the World T20 and that saw them being out of contention of the knock outs even before playing their four games. While Sri Lanka came into the tournament as defending champions with the likes of AB de Villiers, Faf du Plessis and Dale Steyn, Proteas were expected to have an impressive go at the tournament but that was not to be and the two teams will fight it out tonight to salvage pride before flying back home.
