A hilly start but a flat finish from Le-Puy-en-Velay to Romans-sur-Isere as the third week of the Tour de France gets underway today.
The penultimate weekend of the Tour de France takes place today, with a 189.5km route through the Massif Central, the fourth mountain range at the Tour. It starts in Laissac-Severac-L'Eglise and finishes in Le-Puy-en-Velay.
The third weekend of the Tour has so far been explosive with yesterday's Bastille Day win for Warren Barguil. Today we're heading for the Massif Central on Stage 14.
It's Bastille Day! It's all to play for on the Tour de France, as we are sure to get one explosive stage today! It might be a short 101km route from Saint-Girons to Foix but it will surely be a big day in the GC race for yellow.
Today's a big day! It's the first day in the Pyrenees with a 214.5km route from Pau to Peyragudes, featuring six category climbs, five of which climb to high altitude in the last 100km.
It should be one last opportunity for the sprinters before the Pyrennes loom large. Today is a 203.5km route from Eymet to Pau
