It's coming home, it's coming home... Seeing as the first F1 world championship race was held at Silverstone in 1950 the Northamptonshire circuit has a solid claim to being the home of F1, add to that the number of teams that are based within easy reach of the track (Mercedes, Force India, Haas,, Renault Williams & RedBull are all within about 50 miles), then it's a sort of home race for over half the grid too! But who can make the most of the home advantage today? Mercedes have been quick so far this weekend, but Ferrari aren't too far behind them. Without the chance of rain this weekend, it looks like it could be a 2-way fight between the top 2 teams in the constructor's championship, but as we've learnt over the years, never rule out the unexpected in F1 and we certainly won't do that today!
