Business in the Community's AGM and Leadership Summit

On 23 November, 350 senior business leaders and partners from across The Prince’s Responsible Business Network will gather for Business in the Community’s Annual General Meeting and Leadership Summit. As well as an update on BITC's impact over the last year, this Summit will feature the first speech by our new CEO, Amanda Mackenzie OBE, who will set out her vision for the Prince's Responsible Business Network.

Future Proof Assembly: West Yorkshire

On 9th November at Asda HQ in Leeds, Business in the Community, backed by the City & Guilds Group will bring over 60 major employers from across West Yorkshire to explore the challenges and opportunities of employing young people in the region.

Our Unipart Inspiring Young Talent Award finalist Amey joined us for a live Q & A on 27th September for National Inclusion Week. Emily Davies, Head of Social Impact, Helen Johnson, Apprenticeship Programme Manager and Anton George, HR Advisor - Emerging Talent from Amey were on hand to answer questions on their partnership with the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme. Fiona Gordon, ‎Senior Partnerships Manager at Duke of Edinburgh also came along to discuss the partnership. Amey's partnership has seen it help 407 disadvantaged young apprentices learn new skills and develop confidence, as well as helping the company differentiate itself when competing for new tenders.
