Looking to stay alive in the Big Ten title hunt, Michigan heads to Bloomington, Indiana to take on the Hoosiers from Memorial Stadium. Sitting at 7-2 on the year, it's still an uphill battle for the Wolverines to earn that spot in the Big Ten title game, especially with Michigan State's win over Maryland today. However the only thing the Wolverines can control on their own end is this week's game against an Indiana team that cannot be glossed over. So far this season, Indiana has played played three top-10 teams in the past six weeks and went into the fourth quarter with a chance to win in all three. Unfortunately for the Hoosiers, those three losses have turned into five straight losses which in turn probably means no postseason bowl berth. A team with nothing to lose though may be the most dangerous team to face, especially on the road.

he Detroit Lions (1-5) look to win two in a row (that's called a winning streak) after their overtime victory over the Chicago Bears with a home victory over the Minnesota Vikings (3-2) who are coming off a win over the Kansas City Chiefs. The Lions will be without several starters again, but will have to overcome to win this NFC North battle.

In the biggest game so far for both teams, No. 7 Michigan State heads into Ann Arbor to take on No. 12 Michigan in the battle for the Paul Bunyan from the Big House. Coming in a 7.5 favorites, Michigan is flying high under head coach Jim Harbaugh having remarkably shut out their last three opponents, while holding the opposition to just 14 points since their opening week loss to Utah. Meanwhile, Michigan State comes into the game 6-0 but decimated by injury while avoiding close calls against both Purdue and Rutgers last weekend. With the College Football Playoffs up for contention for both teams, both Michigan State and Michigan have more on the line than pride today. So far this season, Michigan State has been outscored 73-50 in the second half while having total control in the first half 107-31. The Spartans will however look to capitalize on a Rutgers team they've enjoyed plenty of recent success against. Last season, Michigan State destroyed Rutgers 45-3 from Spartan Stadium.

The Detroit Lions look to salvage their season tonight on the road in Seattle against the Seahawks. The Lions will be down three starters tonight with injury and they will have to find a way to move the ball against one of the best defenses in football.
