CEC Gyanesh has ‘tried to shut off India's voice’, 'can't sleep at night'
"I am feeling very bad that Gyanesh Kumar is afraid, that he can't sleep at night. But he has committed a crime, he has committed the biggest crime. He has tried to shut off the country's voice and its soul. He has strangled the country. That is why he cannot sleep at night," Rahul Gandhi continued.
"And I'm telling you openly, the truth is that neither Narendra Modi nor Amit Shah can sleep at night either. But we are not people of hate or people of enmity. We are people of love. We want to bring back love and fraternity to this country and put it back on the right path," he added.
Gandhi also alleged at one point in his speech that Modi and Shah could not have become prime minister and home minister respectively without CEC Kumar.
