Kuznetsova Takes On Cibulkova In First WTA Finals SF

Welcome back to the WTA Insider Live Blog, taking you inside the BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global. It's semifinals day in Singapore and the first match is about to get underway between No.7 and No.8 seeds Dominika Cibulkova and Svetlana Kuznetsova. The last two into the WTA Finals, Cibulkova and Kuznetsova have more than made good on their longshot bids, each earning their best-ever results at this tournament. Cibulkova has won the last five matches she's played against the Russian, but Kuznetsova has looked all but unbeatable through her first three round robin matches, earning wins over Agnieszka Radwanska and Karolina Pliskova.
