Get LIVE updates today from our KiDz HuB Team on location at the 20th Anniversary JOSL & NJYS "Celebration of Soccer" Just One Soccer League (JOSL) and New Jersey Youth Soccer (NJYS) present “Celebration of Soccer” in Newark, NJ today Saturday, April 2nd. They are looking forward to hosting between 500 and 1,000 recreation level players for a fun-filled day. About JOSL & NJYS "Celebration of Soccer" INTRODUCTION: This program is designed solely for boys and girls up to age 16 participating at the “recreational level” currently registered and playing in the Just One Soccer League (JOSL). PURPOSE: To promote a love for playing soccer starting at the grass roots level—the community soccer programs. Encourage a player first philosophy — that is team follows the player. FORMAT: The Celebration of Soccer is based on “pure self-discovery and experimentation where, like a “street soccer” learning environment, there are no coaches or referees. The players are making their own decisions, policing the game. Players will have complete ownership of the game. SESSION OUTLINE: 10:00am - 10:45am: 5-8 year olds (200-300 estimated) 11:00am - 11:45am: 9-10 year olds (100-200 estimated) 12:00pm - 12:45am: 11-12 year olds (100-200 estimated) 1:00pm - 1:45pm: 13-16 year old (200-300 estimated). 2:00pm - 2:45pm: TOPSoccer Clinic (The Outreach Program for Soccer)
